We are really liking the look of the VW California and have rented one next week to try living with it for a while.

Assuming we like it, any ideas on where we might be able to get one second hand? I'm thinking of something up to 18 months old. We'd like to avoid the depreciation of buying a brand new one.

Availability in general has been limited and prices have risen in the last six months. Also the VW factory closed for a while in preparation for the production of a new more economical and lower CO2 emission California for 2010.
