The iXTEND folding bed is extended over the folded seats of the passenger compartment and the VW-Multiflexboard offering excellent sleeping comfort.
The iXTEND folding bed has a specially developed foam center: a combination of cold-cure foam, which adjusts to the contours of the vehicle and the bodyweight of a person. The lower area is firmer, so that all edges, gaps, joins and even the safety locks of the bench are covered and not noticeable. The upper area is softer, so that the foam adapts well to the body and supports it comfortably.
The iXTEND folding bed can be folded and transported on the VW-Multiflexboard.
The flame retardant foam conforming to automotive standards can be removed easily, if the VW original fabric cover needs to be cleaned. The two cold-cure foam layers can be turned over. The fabric can be washed in a programme for wool at 30°C.

Being folded on the VW-Multiflexboard, the iXTEND folding bed can be unfolded easily. The loops attached can be accessed from the right or the left sliding door.
The iXTEND folding bed can be opened and folded to the backrest of the 2-seater bench so that a big storage or lying area is created without gaps. Practical to use, the additional space can be a storage area for luggage on the rear cushion, but also an easily accessible baby bed or a big lying area for a dog.
