Before installing and using the snow chains, please read your vehicle’s use and maintenance booklet provided by the manufacturer carefully: most manufacturers provide indications on whether and how to use snow chains.
Thule will not be responsible for any damage to property and/or people and/or animals caused by improper use of the snow chains, or for use that that does not comply with instructions in your vehicle’s use and maintenance booklet.
While Thule has made every effort to ensure its snow chains are appropriate for use on vehicles as recommended, manufacturers may have a contrary view or change vehicle specifications without advising Thule. It is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ensure that use of snow chains is appropriate and acceptable for their vehicle. Thule will not be liable for use of snow chains in ways not expressly permitted by Thule and the vehicle manufacturer.
SNOW CHAIN RETURNS POLICY
Unused goods, in new condtition, supplied within 7 working days after the date of delivery can be returned at the customers expense* for a full refund or exchange. If the reason for return is that the goods are either defective or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange for the goods to be collected/swapped over at our expense, or if agreed with ourselves in advance, for smaller items we will refund the standard rate return postage. Items returned after seven days may be subject to a 30% handling/restocking charge.
Before any goods can be returned you must notify us within 7 working days after the day of recept of goods by letter or email.
Any goods cancelled under the Distant Selling Regulations must be returned to us before a refund can be made.
Unless the goods supplied were either defective or incorrectly supplied, the outward carriage charge will not be refunded and any costs associated with return carriage will be deducted. If the goods returned are not received by us in (a) their original packaged condition, (b) damaged, (c) misused, (d) show obvious signs of use or with (e) parts missing, we reserve the right to contact you and make an appropriate deduction off the original purchase price.
Items returned must be packaged in their original packaging. They must also be packaged securely in a similar way to how they were sent in order to avoid damage in transit. If the goods arrive with us in a damaged state due to the customer not taking reasonable care to ensure the goods were securely packaged it will be deemed to be the responsibility of the customer.
Returned special order items are subject to a 30% handling/re stocking charge.
* Please be aware that the cost of arranging collection of items by our carriers can be more than the original cost of delivery. If goods were received as one package they must also be returned as one package.
